Your first appointment with Doctor Smith will include a detailed health history, gait and postural assessment, neurological and orthopedic examinations and any needed special tests followed by a report of findings.

During your report of findings Doctor Smith will explain:

Chiropractic Adjustments – Chiropractic is a system of optimizing human performance and potential by restoring or enhancing the body’s function. Doctor Smith’s primary treatment tool is the chiropractic adjustment, and it is an amazing tool!

Active Myofascial Release and Instrument Assisted Cross Friction Massage – Doctor Smith takes the time to treat your muscular restrictions, trigger points, and scar tissue from old injuries and repetitive stresses. We also refer to talented massage therapists for therapeutic, sport, deep tissue, and pre-natal massage.

Rehabilitation and Exercise at Spine Chiropractic in Chico Jesse Smith

Rehabilitation – Every patient at Spine Chiropractic Rehabilitation and Wellness will receive training on proper biomechanics, posture, and the movement patterns needed to function at their best, feel good, and meet some fundamental strength and mobility levels. We have a special 3 week program designed specifically to teach the basics of mobility and posture.

Rock Tape Chico Chiropractic

Fascial Movement Taping – Doctor Smith is a FMT II certified “Rockdoc” and uses Rock Tape to assist with rehabilitation, edema management, neuropathic pain, scar mobility, and posture improvement. We often teach our patients self taping methods and offer Rock Tape here in the office.
