Core Bracing with Movement is the third session yo Core Bracing with Movement is the third session you will experience with Megan, our Core Skills Trainer, in which you practice maintaining a strong abdominal core while moving your extremities.

The Bird Dog exercise (pictured here) is one way to do this. Other exercises include the Deadbugs, Hollow Hold, and squats.

All told there are ten sessions of core skills training that start with foundational skills and move out to the extremities. To get started, call us or follow the link in our bio.

Mouth-breathing is not optimal regardless of how it may make you feel. By contrast, nose breathing can:
increase oxygen uptake
increase airflow to arteries and nerves
help your diaphragm work properly
improve lung volume

This is what the handout for the core bracing session will look like. Core bracing is another way to describe tightening your abdominal muscles. The better you are at core bracing, the more stable your spine will be.
